Introduction
NAS 1800 is a data logger designed specifically for field data logging and control applications, including geotechnical, architecture, mining, and structural researching; it also has the accuracy and flexibilities that suit well in general purpose test and measurement tasks.
This self-contained data logger accurately reads voltage, current, resistance, temperature, frequency, period, duty cycle, revolution speed and many other corresponding physical quantities.
The bundled FDLogger Scan Planner let you to configure sensor types, trigger condition, data transmission and alarm, etc., and can have your measurement task start in less than 10-minutes.
The multi-SENSE® Technology
An innovative technology derived from our expertise in signal conditioning and processing. The multi-SENSE® analog frontendworks in harmony with sensors, automatically selects proper gain setting, driving topology and signal paths, and also eliminates the needs for bulky external signal conditioning techniques as well as custom circuits.
To retrieve sensor readouts, simply connect and specify the sensor type in software, then, let multi-SENSE® do the rest. NAS 1800 returns physical units directly to you, not again meaningless ADC codes.
Self-contained Logging and Alarm
The measurement task can be set to run at specific intervals, or under user definable trigger events. The recorded values are saved in the internal Flash memory, and thresholds can be defined to trigger alarms.
The stored data can be retrieved and monitored hundreds of meters away through an isolated, industrial-grade RS-485 link. NAS 1800 can turn into a remote data-acquisition device within minutes.
Ultra Low-power Operation
NAS-1800 comes with sophisticated power management circuitry that put itself into suspend mode when there is no measurement task to run, and cuts power consumption to 0.05W.
You can even configure and reduce the power consumption of your entire sensors network via FDLogger Scan Planner, which switches on the power source only when it is necessary.Ordering Information
